Reading Ruler

Reading can be much easier when only one line is highlighted at a time. This tool creates a focus band that follows the text as you read, reducing the visual overwhelm that can come from seeing a whole page at once.

 

Use your mouse to hover over the line you want to read, or use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move up and down through the text. You can also click any line to lock it in place while you read.

 

Try adjusting the highlight colour and the amount of dimming on surrounding text using the controls on the right side of the screen.

 

This tool can help with dyslexia, ADHD, visual processing difficulties, or simply when you are tired and need help staying focused on the right line.
