ZingoTools (zingotools.com) is a free online utilities website providing calculators, converters and assistive tools. When this policy refers to "we", "us" or "our", it means ZingoTools.

We do not collect personal information directly. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use any tool on ZingoTools.

The following information is collected automatically through third-party services we use:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, country (not city or address), and website interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and page behaviour. Collected via Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Vercel Analytics.
• IP address — your IP address is processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance purposes. We do not store or access individual IP addresses.
• Contact form submissions — if you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us via Web3Forms and delivered to our inbox. We do not store this data beyond our email account.
• Advertising data — Google AdSense may collect data to serve personalised advertisements. See Section 5 for full details.

The data collected through analytics services is used solely to:

• Understand how visitors use ZingoTools so we can improve the tools and user experience
• Identify which tools are most useful and where new tools should be built
• Monitor site performance and diagnose technical issues
• Respond to contact form enquiries

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

ZingoTools uses Google AdSense to display advertisements on some pages. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to ZingoTools and other websites.

Assistive tools are ad-free. The assistive tools section of ZingoTools (visual timer, reading ruler, syllable splitter, dyslexia text formatter) contains no advertising of any kind.

We use analytics services to understand how visitors use ZingoTools, improve the website, identify useful tools, and diagnose performance or security issues.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated usage information such as pages visited, session duration, device type, browser type and approximate location. This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from Google Analytics reports.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay. Microsoft Clarity may collect website usage data using cookies and similar technologies. We use this information to improve page layout, usability, site performance, security and future tool development.

Important: ZingoTools does not save or store the text, numbers, files, passwords, schedules, calculator values or other content you enter into our tools. Protecting user privacy is a key feature of ZingoTools. Tool inputs are processed in your browser where possible and are not stored in a ZingoTools database.

IP anonymisation is enabled. Your full IP address is never stored in Google Analytics.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also control cookies and tracking technologies through your browser settings.

ZingoTools uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Several ZingoTools tools process data entirely within your browser and send nothing to our servers:

• File Converter — all file conversions happen locally in your browser. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.
• Password Generator — passwords are generated locally. We never see or store any generated passwords.
• All calculators — numbers and inputs you enter into calculators are not transmitted to our servers.

We do not maintain a database of user data. Analytics data is retained by the relevant analytics providers according to their policies and our account settings, including our GA4 retention setting of 14 months. Contact form messages are retained in our email inbox and deleted periodically.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access information held about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to object to or restrict processing
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

ZingoTools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of ZingoTools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
